HOA's and Home Compost Systems

Home Owners Associations provide a challenging environment for the majority of compost systems.  The variety of requirements for any particular HOA could lead to different results depending on your goals.  In general, we find that the Bokashi composting systems provide the solution with the least issues for HOAs.  Why?

• Bokashi composting contains odors and prevent rotting, thereby eliminating the attraction to critters.
• Bokashi composting can be maintained indoors, in carports, thus out of sight of neighbors.
• Bokashi food scraps can be buried, once properly fermented, directly into the soil, eliminating the need for a visible compost system.
